V is for Virginia

A Class Alpahbet Book

Students worked on completing a draft of their paragraph and a sketch of their drawing before coming to the Tech Lab. Their paragraphs explained how their chosen word relates to Virginia.

In the Tech Lab, students used ClarisWorks to type the paragraphs. The "Aa" at the top of each page was typed in font size 150. The paragraph was typed in size 24.

Students made a paint box at the bottom of their page and used the ClarisWorks paint tools to draw their pictures. Some of the pictures were difficult to draw so those students found images on the Internet to import into their document.
