These factors were among those which made Camp IPX a
success:
- Student-to-computer ratio was
1:1.
- Student-to-teacher ratio was
6:1.
- Parents were extremely supportive of
Camp IPX. An Open House was held on the last day of
camp.
- Internet access was available on
every computer.
- There were enough computers to be
able to dedicate one to the scanner. This was available
to campers at all times.
- There was a digital camera, the
Apple
QuickTake 150, and two
Connectix
QuickCams for digitizing
pictures.
- Discovering Image Processing Lessons
came with a CD-ROM with images prepared for each
activity.
