Loading the MacMet V4.1 Software

There are three disks in your packet. The first two you will use are AWS MacMET Disk 1 of 2 and Disk 2 of 2. The third disk is AWS MacMET Maps.

  1. Insert AWS MacMET Disk 1 of 2 into the computer.
  2. Double click on the MacMet 4 Installer icon.
  3. Click continue at the Welcome screen.
  4. Select the desktop as the installer destination. Click Install.
  5. You will be prompted to insert AWS MacMET Disk 2 of 2.
  6. Then you will be prompted to insert AWS MacMET Disk 1 of 2 again.
  7. Click Quit at the "Installation Successful" window.
  8. Drag MacMET Disk 1 of 2 to the trash. (DO NOT USE "EJECT DISK")
  9. Insert the third disk - AWS MacMET Maps - into the computer.
  10. Double click on the Washington D.C. Maps Installer.
  11. Click continue at the next window.
  12. The maps need to be installed into the MacMet Data folder. Click on Desktop.
  13. Then click on the "Macmet 4 folder". Click on Open.
  14. Your screen should look like the picture below. DO NOT CLICK ON OPEN!
  15. CLICK ON -Install into "MacMET Data"- See below.

  16. When you see the Installation was successful screen, click quit.
  17. Drag the AWS MacMET Maps disk to the trash.
  18. Your software has been loaded.
