How To Download the Video
Cards3.0 Software from First Class

- Logon to First Class and navigate to the Video
Cards folder. (Conferences/ISD/Instruction/Elementary/ES
Science/VideoCards)
- Open the message from Wanda Walters titled
VideoCards Software.
- Select all the attachments (Hold down the
shift key and click on each one.)
- From the menu bar, click on File and drag to
Save attachment...
- At the next screen select Desktop and make a
new folder named "Temporary". This will put all the files in one
folder named Temporary on your desktop. This download will take a
few minutes so be patient!
- Now that you have downloaded all the necessary
files, we need to move them into special places. (To move files,
highlight the ones you want to move by holding down the shift key
and clicking once to select them. Once you have made your
selections, let up on the shift key and then click in the middle
of the highlighted area and drag to the new location.)
- First click and drag the Bar 2 and Barcode
Font on top of your closed System Folder. (This will be found
on your hard drive. You will be prompted to store these fonts
in the fonts folder.) Click OK.
- Next double click on the Open Me VC 1 icon
and click Extract. This puts a VC FOLDER and other necessary
files into your Temporary folder.
- Move the following files to the VC
Folder:
- Move the following files to the VC DATA
folder:
- Move the following files to the VC FILES
folder:
- Installation in now complete. Move the VC
Folder out of the Temporary folder and onto your Desktop. You can
then drag the Temporary folder, including Open Me VC 1 file, to
the trash.
