Drawing a Map of China

During their study of China, third graders drew maps using the tools in Kid Pix. Students placed a transparency with the outline of China on the computer monitor to get the basic shape of the country. Then they labeled important places, rivers and seas.

The maps needed to include:

• Title
• Label the bodies of water
• Compass rose
• Label important places,rivers and seas
