Animation was the word for the day!

We learned many new image processing techniques:

  • animating stacks
  • moving through a stack
  • editing stacks
  • creating stacks
  • montaging a stack

"Today we learned about animation. First we looked at the samples, then we made our own. It was so much fun that I didn't even know time was going by. My animation was a man playing basketball. I also learned that when they make videos they use animation. It was a lot of fun to work on animation."

Here is a sample of frame-by-frame animation!

"Today we worked on animations. First we took the sample with the 3 dots and messed around with it. Then when we had the idea of animation we started drawing one of our own. I animated the hamburger eating a piece of a pickle. This was what I was waiting for!"

One of the campers created their own activity using NIH Image. In this activity you can design a cityscape or a castle.

There is always time for exploring at Camp IPX! After scanning a picture of Michael Jordan, this camper used his image processing skills to put his head on Michael's body!

Watch out for those bees!
