Here are some examples of some of the ways teachers and students
are using image processing across the curriculum.
Students used image
processing to measure angles as part of
a geometry unit. Since our school is under renovation, taking
construction pictures with the digital camera provided interesting
angles to measure.
Students used digital images as "Mystery
Images" as part of morning warm ups.
Students used NIH Image software to
illustrate their
knowledge of series and parallel
circuits. Students created a stack
showing what it takes to make the lightbulbs light up in each
situation. After animating, they made a montage of their stack.
This enabled them to print and display a paper copy their
work.
